How to offer Bookings on your Linktree

Add a Bookings link so visitors can book time with you, like a coaching session, consultation, or appointment, right from your Linktree. Connect your Google Calendar, set when you're available, and offer free or paid sessions.

Note

Paid bookings are available on Pro and Premium plans in certain countries, and other eligibility criteria may apply. Free and Starter plans can offer free bookings. Check who can earn with Linktree.

Set up Bookings

  1. From My Linktree, select Edit. In the Links tab, select + Add.
  2. Search for Coaching and Bookings and select it.
  3. Choose whether you want to offer a free or paid booking.
  4. Under Synced account, select Select a calendar to connect, then sign in to Google to connect your Google Calendar.
    • Linktree checks your calendar for conflicts before anyone books, so visitors only see times you're free.
  5. Under Location/Conferencing, choose where your sessions happen, like Google Meet, then select Continue.
The Calendar settings step, with Synced account and Location/Conferencing options and a Continue button.
  6. Set your availability, then select Continue:
    • All times shown as: Choose your time zone.
    • Weekly availability: Select the days you're available and set your hours. Select + Add more availability to add another time window.
    • Advanced options: Set your Buffer time before start, Buffer time after start, Minimum booking notice, and how far ahead visitors can book with Allow bookings up to.
  7. Add an image, a Booking name, and a Description.
  8. Under Booking types, edit the default booking type or add another, like a free intro call or a paid 1-hour session, then select Continue. For each booking type, set:
    • Title and Duration: Name the session and choose how long it runs.
    • Timezone: Leave it as Visitor's local timezone, or lock bookings to a specific time zone.
    • Price: Leave it at 0 for a free session. Add a Compare-at price if you want to show a discount.
The Booking details step, with an image, Booking name, Description, and a free 30-minute booking type, next to a live preview.
  9. Under Information, choose what to collect from visitors when they book. Name and Email are always required. Select + Add field to ask for more.
  10. Turn on Custom T&Cs if you want to link your own terms.
  11. Turn on Mailing list opt-in if you want to ask visitors to join your mailing list.
  12. Write Your cancellation policy, so visitors know how to cancel and whether they'll get a refund.
  13. Check the Support email customers can reach you at. Select Edit to change it.
  14. Select Complete.

Your Bookings link is now live on your Linktree. Visitors select Make a booking to choose a time.

Add a discount code

Offer a reduced price on your paid bookings, like a promotion for new or returning clients.

  1. Go to Products in Earn.
  2. Select the three-dot menu next to your booking, then select Edit.
  3. Select the Discounts tab, then select + New discount.
  4. Enter a Code of up to 30 characters, like WELCOME10.
  5. Choose a Discount type:
    • Percentage: For example, 10% off.
    • Fixed amount: For example, $5 off.
  6. Enter the Discount value.
  7. Turn on any of these options if you want them:
    • Order minimum: Require a minimum spend before the code applies.
    • Expiration date: Set a date for the code to stop working.
    • Limit total redemptions: Cap how many times the code can be used across all customers.
  8. Select Create discount.

Note

Codes aren't case-sensitive, so WELCOME10 and welcome10 work the same way.

Manage cancellations, no-shows, and refunds

When visitors book a session with you, you're the service provider and seller of record, so the contract is between you and your client. You're responsible for providing the service, setting your cancellation policy, and handling refunds and disputes.

Write your cancellation policy

Your cancellation policy appears in the last step of setup. Say how clients should let you know they need to cancel, and if and when they'll get a refund. For example:

  • Full refund if canceled 48 hours or more in advance.
  • 50% refund if canceled 24 to 48 hours in advance.
  • No refund if canceled less than 24 hours in advance.

Handle refunds and disputes

  • Refunds: Issue them from your Stripe Dashboard.
  • Disputes and chargebacks: Stripe notifies you, and you respond from your Stripe Dashboard.
  • No-shows: Apply your cancellation policy.

You're also responsible for following the laws that apply to your service, including consumer protection and data protection laws.

Tip

Keep email records of cancellations and disputes, in case you need them later.
