Post Ideas uses AI to suggest social media posts and write captions for them. Pick a type of post and a topic, choose an idea, and get captions ready for Instagram, TikTok, and X. Use it when you're short on inspiration or time.
Get post ideas
- In your Linktree Admin, go to Post Ideas under Tools.
- Choose the type of post you want:
- Trending: Timely, popular topics.
- Evergreen: Ideas that don't go out of date.
- Video Hooks: Attention-grabbing intros for videos.
- Surprise Me: Fun and unexpected topics.
- Got something in mind?: Your own topic, for when you have the start of an idea and want help developing it.
- Select an interest area that fits your content.
- Select Get ideas, then pick the idea you like best.
- Select Try again if you want new ideas.
Create a caption
- In Post Ideas, pick an idea, then select Get captions.
- Switch between Instagram, TikTok, and X to preview the caption on each.
- Choose a caption, then:
- Select Copy to clipboard () to paste it anywhere.
- Select Create post with this caption to build a post in Social Planner. From there, you can schedule it and post it to your connected social accounts.

Tip
Use the thumbs-up or thumbs-down buttons next to each idea or caption to improve future suggestions.
