You can change your Linktree username from Account management in your Linktree Settings. Your username is the last part of your URL and your link: linktr.biz/yourusername. Change it when you want a fresh start or a name that better fits your brand. Need ideas? Try our free username generator.
Change your username
- From My Linktree, select Settings () in the bottom-left corner. Select Account management.
- On a mobile device, tap More, then tap Account.
- Select the three dots () next to the username you want to change, then select Change username.
- Enter your new username in the pop-up and select Review username change.
- If the username is already taken, choose another one.
- Review the details, then select Confirm Change.

Your new username is active right away.
Note
You can change your username once every seven days.
Update where you've shared your link
Your link changes with your username, so update it wherever you've shared it, like your social bios.
QR codes you create with Linktree's QR code tool link to a unique URL rather than your username, so they keep working. If you made your own QR code that points to linktr.biz/yourusername, update it to your new username.
