How to add an Age Lock to a link

An Age Lock asks visitors to enter their date of birth before they can open a link. Anyone under the minimum age you set can't access it. Use it to keep age-restricted content away from younger visitors.

Add an Age Lock

  1. From My Linktree, select Edit. In the Links tab, select the link you want to lock.
  2. Select the Power-ups tab.
  3. In the Lock link section, select Date of birth.
  4. Choose the minimum age visitors must meet under Set minimum age.
  5. Enter a short Lock explanation so visitors know why the link is locked.
The Lock link settings with Date of birth active, a minimum age of 18+, and a lock explanation that reads "This content is restricted to 18+ only."

Note

If several links have an Age Lock with the same minimum age, visitors only enter their date of birth once per session. If your links use different minimum ages, visitors stay locked out of any link where they don't meet the age.
