How to add a Music Pre-save link

A Music Pre-save link lets fans pre-save an upcoming release from your Linktree, so it's added to their library automatically when it goes live. On release day, the link turns into a regular Music link, so it keeps working after the launch.

  1. From My Linktree, select Edit. In the Links tab, select + Add.
  2. Search for Music Presave and select it from the results.
  3. Enter your Spotify URI, track ISRC, or album UPC.
  4. In the Details tab, enter the Title of your track or album and your Artist name.
  5. Add any of these optional details in the Details tab, if you want:
    • Album cover: Artwork to build hype for the release.
    • Thank you message: A message that appears after someone pre-saves your release.
    • Post-release title: The link title that goes live when your music is released.
  6. Upload an Audio preview in the Audio tab if you want visitors to hear a snippet before release day.
  7. Under Release info, choose the date and time your release goes live.
  8. Choose your Automated services: Spotify, Apple Music, or TIDAL. These add your release to a visitor's library automatically on release day.
    • On the Free plan, you can show one automated service. To show more, you need a Pro or Premium plan.
  9. Add, hide, or reorder the other Streaming services visitors can choose from, if you want.
    • Select a service to change its Button label, for example to Pre-Save, Pre-Order, or Stream.

What happens on release day

When the date and time you set arrives, your Music Pre-save link becomes a Music link automatically. It shows your live release, the same as any other Music link on your Linktree.
