Linktree x GoFundMe – Promotional Terms and Conditions

1. Overview

From September 3, 2026 (8:00 PT) to September 17, 2026 (23:59 PT) (the “Promotion Period”), the first time a user selects an item within the GoFundMe sticker pack to display on their Linktree profile (the “Qualifying Action”), Linktree Pty Ltd. (“Linktree,” “we,” “us”) will make a corresponding donation as described below (the “Promotion”). No purchase, payment, or fee is required to participate. Selecting the sticker pack is entirely free.

2. How the Donation Works

  • For each Qualifying Action taken during the Promotion Period, Linktree will contribute $1.00 USD toward the aggregate donation described in Section 3, up to the Maximum Donation Amount below.
  • Donations are made by Linktree from its own funds. Users do not donate any money, and no portion of any fee paid to Linktree (if any) is used to fund the donation.
  • Linktree’s contribution will be made through the GoFundMe website at https://www.gofundme.com/ (“GoFundMe”) by Linktree in equal shares to each of the Recipient Organizations defined below.

3. Maximum Donation Amount

  • Linktree’s total aggregate contribution under this Promotion is capped at $10,000 USD in the aggregate (the “Maximum Donation Amount”), regardless of how many users take the Qualifying Action.
  • Once the Maximum Donation Amount is reached, Linktree’s obligation to contribute further funds under this Promotion ends, even if the Promotion Period has not concluded and even if additional users select stickers or take the Qualifying Action after that point. After the Maximum Donation Amount is reached, any additional sticker selection Qualifying Actions will not result in any additional donation.
  • Linktree may, in its sole discretion, end the Promotion early, extend it, or modify these terms, including if the Maximum Donation Amount is reached ahead of the stated End Date. The sticker pack may persist on Linktree and chosen stickers may remain on a user’s Linktree once the donation target is achieved. The GoFundMe sticker pack will be deprecated 3 months after the start date. If the GoFundMe sticker pack remains available or stickers from the GoFundMe sticker pack remain displayed after the Maximum Donation Amount is reached, the availability, display, or selection of a sticker does not indicate that any further donation is ongoing or will be made.

4. Recipient Organizations

  • The aggregate donation will be distributed via GoFundMe to the following ten 501(c)(3) organizations (the “Recipient Organizations”):
    • American Kidney Fund
    • PETA
    • Stand Up to Cancer
    • Second Harvest of Silicon Valley
    • Khan Academy
    • American Red Cross
    • Blood Cancer United
    • Americares
    • Pasadena Humane
    • Direct Relief
  • The donation will be allocated among the Recipient Organizations as follows: in equal shares up to $1,000 USD each.
  • Linktree has taken reasonable steps to confirm each Recipient Organization’s charitable tax-exempt status as of the date of this Promotion but does not guarantee continued eligibility, use of funds, or any particular outcome from the donation.
  • Recipient Organizations, and the allocation among them, may be substituted or adjusted by Linktree at its discretion, including if an organization becomes ineligible to receive funds through GoFundMe during the Promotion Period.

5. No Tax or Financial Benefit to Users

  • Because users are not personally donating funds, selecting the sticker pack does not create any tax deduction, receipt, or other financial benefit for the user. Linktree, not the user, is the donor of record for purposes of this Promotion.
  • Linktree makes no representation regarding the deductibility of its own contribution and this Promotion is not intended to constitute tax advice to any user.

6. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase or payment of any kind is required to participate in this Promotion. The Qualifying Action is available to all eligible users on every Linktree plan, including free plans, and does not require a paid subscription. Linktree receives no fee, commission, or payment from any user in connection with the Qualifying Action, and no portion of any fee paid to Linktree is used to fund the donation.

7. Eligibility

For purposes of this Promotion, an “eligible user” is a Linktree user who has an active Linktree account, is legally permitted to use the Linktree platform, and is located in a jurisdiction where the Promotion is available. Each eligible user may take only one Qualifying Action during the Promotion Period. Only the first sticker applied by a user from the GoFundMe sticker pack will count toward the donation. Additional stickers applied by the same user, or any removal, replacement, or re-application of a sticker, will not count as additional Qualifying Actions or result in any additional donation.

8. Platform Role of GoFundMe

GoFundMe is an independent platform that processes and disburses the donation described in Section 3 to the Recipient Organizations. GoFundMe is not affiliated with Linktree beyond its role in processing this donation, and use of GoFundMe’s services is subject to GoFundMe’s own terms of service and privacy policy.

9. Changes; Right to Modify or Cancel

Linktree reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this Promotion, or these Terms, at any time and for any reason, including regulatory, operational, or legal considerations, subject to applicable law. Material changes will be reflected in an updated version of these Terms with a revised “Last updated” date.

10. No Warranty; Limitation of Liability

The Promotion is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linktree disclaims all warranties regarding the Promotion and will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Promotion, except as required by applicable law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and are supplementary to Linktree’s general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which continue to apply.
