A digital business card lives in your phone's wallet app. Open it, let someone scan the QR code, and they land on your Linktree. Nobody needs an app to scan it, and they can save your contact details or share theirs with you, along with a short note.

Tip
If you'd rather hand over something physical, you can also order a physical business card. You can use both.
Create your digital card
- Go to Business cards in your Linktree Admin and select the Digital card tab.
- Preview your card.
- Choose a Background color.
- Turn on Let visitors share their details back if you want people who scan your card to send you their details and a note.
- Select Add to Apple Wallet or Add to Google Wallet.
Open your wallet app anytime to show the card and let people scan the QR code.
What people see when they scan it
When someone scans your QR code with their phone camera or any QR scanner app, they land on your Linktree. Two buttons can appear at the bottom of their screen:
- Save contact saves your details to their phone. It appears once you've added a Contact Details Link App.
- Share details lets them send you their name, phone number, and email, plus a note of up to 500 characters in the Notes (optional) box. It appears once Let visitors share their details back is turned on.
You can show one button or both. People who share their details land in Contacts under Audience, alongside contacts collected through forms, subscribe buttons, and Bookings.
Note
Without a Contact Details Link App or Let visitors share their details back turned on, neither button appears and people see your Linktree only.
Read and add notes on your contacts
Select a contact in Contacts to see two kinds of notes in the Details tab:
- Networking Notes is the note the person wrote when they shared their details. If they share again with a new note, it replaces the old one. If they share again without one, the old note stays. It's hidden if they didn't agree to share their details with you.
- Contact notes is your own note about the person. Only you can see it, and it's never sent to them.
To add a contact note:
- From Audience, select Contacts, then select the contact.
- Type your note in Contact notes, up to 1,000 characters, and select Save.
To delete a contact note, clear the Contact notes box and select Save.
