To add closed captions to a course video, upload an SRT file to the lesson's video in the course builder. Captions show a text version of what's said, so people can follow along if they're hard of hearing, watching without sound, or prefer to read. The course builder is powered by Kajabi and works inside your Linktree Admin, so there's nothing else to sign in to.
Add captions to a lesson video
- From My Linktree, select Edit. In the Links tab, select your Course link and open your course.
- Select Edit () next to the lesson with the video you want to caption.
- Select Video Actions, then select Closed captions.
- Upload your SRT file.

Note
An SRT file is a plain text file that lists each caption with its start and end time. Many video editing and transcription tools can export one.
