Fix the third-party cookies message when creating a course

If you see "You need to allow third-party cookies to continue" while creating your course, your browser is blocking third-party cookies. Some browsers block them by default, and the course builder needs them to work. Allow them in your browser settings, then try again.

Note

You can turn third-party cookies off again after you've created your course.

Allow cookies in Safari

  1. Open Safari, select Safari in the menu bar, and select Settings.
  2. Go to the Privacy tab and uncheck Prevent cross-site tracking.
  3. Select Advanced Settings and uncheck Block all cookies.
  4. Refresh the Links tab and try creating your course again.

  2. Select Allow third-party cookies, or add [*.]linktr.biz to the list of allowed sites.
  3. Refresh the Links tab and try creating your course again.

Allow cookies in Firefox

  1. Open Firefox, select the three-line menu, and go to Settings > Privacy & Security.
  2. Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, choose Standard.
  3. Add Linktree as an exception if you want. Under Manage Exceptions, enter linktr.biz, select Allow, then select Save Changes.
  4. Refresh the Links tab and try creating your course again.

Try another browser

If the message still shows after you've changed your settings, refresh the page once more. If it's still there, use a different browser to finish setting up your course.
