About transaction and processing fees

When you sell products or earn commissions with Linktree Earn features, two kinds of fees can apply: transaction fees from Linktree and processing fees from payment providers like Stripe. Both are calculated and deducted automatically before your payout is sent, so there's nothing extra for you to manage. All amounts in this article are in USD.

Note

Earn features are only available in certain countries, and other eligibility criteria may apply. Check who can earn with Linktree.

Transaction fees

Transaction fees are Linktree's platform fees. They apply when someone makes a purchase through your Linktree, and they help us support and improve the tools you use to sell products and earn commissions. The fee depends on your Linktree plan. Compare fees by plan.

Processing fees

Processing fees are charged by payment providers like Stripe to move money safely online. They're standard industry fees, and they apply on every Linktree plan.

Fees on partner earnings

Partner earnings come from Linktree Shops, sponsored links, and affiliate opportunities. They're available to Linkers in the United States.

  • Linktree fee: A percentage of the commission you earn, not of the total order value. It's already factored into the commission you see in the product catalog, so you know what you'll earn before you accept an offer.
  • Stripe fee: $0.25 per payout, on every plan.

Fees on direct earnings

Direct earnings come from things you sell yourself, like digital products and courses.

  • Linktree fee: A percentage of the sale price, which depends on your plan.
  • Stripe fee: 2.9% + $0.30 per purchase, on every plan. Extra Stripe fees may apply depending on the payment type. See Stripe pricing.

Tip
