About verified badges

A badge next to the name on a Linktree shows that we've verified that Linktree against our requirements. Badges help build trust and reduce impersonation. There are two kinds: the blue verified badge and the gold verified badge.

We give badges based on set criteria that check an individual, brand, or organization has a legitimate, consistent, and established presence across the major social media platforms on their Linktree. A badge can be removed if a Linktree stops meeting the requirements.

Note

A badge doesn't mean we endorse that Linktree or its content, products, or links. Badges don't affect how Linktrees are ranked or discovered.

What the blue verified badge means

The blue verified badge shows that we've verified the account, including that the individual, brand, or organization is represented consistently across the platforms linked from their Linktree. To be eligible, you need an active paid plan. You can apply for it from your Linktree Admin. Follow How to get a verified badge.

What the gold verified badge means

The gold verified badge is a limited recognition for Linkers we've verified who have an established public presence or a higher risk of impersonation. You can't apply for a gold verified badge.

Frequently asked questions

Why did a Linktree lose its badge?

We can remove a blue or gold verified badge at any time if a Linktree no longer meets the current requirements, or if it breaks our Terms and Conditions, Community Standards, or other published terms and policies.

A Linker with a verified badge might also have removed it themselves to change their username, display name, or profile image.
