Tr.ee short links turn any link into a short, clean URL you can share anywhere. Create one for any link on your Linktree from its Share menu, or shorten any URL with Link Shortener. Add a channel or tag to see exactly where your clicks come from.
Create a short link for a link on your Linktree
- From My Linktree, select Edit. In the Links tab, find the link you want to share.
- Select the three dots (•••) on the link, then select Share.
- Select Copy next to your short link, then paste it wherever you want to share it.
- To change the end of your short link, select the edit icon next to it.

- Select Add channel and tags if you want to learn more about where your clicks come from:
- Channel: Your Insights already show which platform sent each click. A channel tells you which specific post or place it came from. Choose a sharing option, like Instagram DM or YouTube Description, or create a custom channel.
- Tags: Group related links with your own labels, like a campaign, product, or release. Then see how they perform together, wherever you've shared them.
Tip
Use channels and tags together. For example, tag all your sale links "Summer Sale" and give each one a channel to see which placement drove the most clicks.
Shorten any URL with Link Shortener
- Go to Link Shortener in the Tools section of your Linktree Admin.
- Select Shorten a link and paste your long link into the field.
- Select Shorten link to create your Tr.ee link.
- Copy your Tr.ee link and share it anywhere.
