How to add a Community Channels link

Add a Community Channels link from the Links tab to give visitors direct access to your WhatsApp group, Discord server, or Slack workspace. You choose whether visitors join instantly or share their details first, which helps you grow your audience.

  1. From My Linktree, select Edit. In the Links tab, select + Add.
  2. Search for "Community Channels" and select Community Channels from the results.
  3. Choose the type of community channel you want to add:
    • WhatsApp group
    • Discord server
    • Slack workspace
  4. Enter the invite URL for your community channel.
  5. In the Interaction section, choose what happens when visitors tap your link:
    • Direct access: Sends visitors to your channel straight away.
    • Access after signup: Collects visitor details, such as name or email, before they can open the link.

WhatsApp, Discord, and Slack invite links can expire. When an invite expires, the link on your Linktree stops working, so set yours to never expire when you create it.

Note

If visitors can't join your community from your Linktree, the invite link has most likely expired. Create a new one and update the URL on your Community Channels link.
