How to connect Google Analytics to your Linktree

Add your Google Analytics Measurement ID to the Analytics section of your Linktree Settings, and we'll send your Linktree activity to your Google Analytics account. This lets you see visits to your Linktree alongside the rest of your website traffic. The Measurement ID replaces the Tracking ID used by older Universal Analytics properties.

Find your Measurement ID

Before you start, create a Google Analytics property. Each property has its own Measurement ID.

  1. Sign in to Google Analytics and select the property you want to use.
  2. In Admin, go to Data Streams and open your web stream.
  3. Copy your Measurement ID.

Tip

Google explains this step in more detail in Find your Measurement ID. For anything else about Google Analytics, see the Google Analytics Help Center.

Add your Measurement ID to Linktree

  1. From My Linktree, select Settings () and scroll to Analytics.
    • On mobile, tap More, then tap Settings.
  2. Paste your Measurement ID in the Google Analytics ID field under Google.

Check your data in Google Analytics

Once your Measurement ID is added, open the Realtime reports overview in Google Analytics. Your Linktree data shows in the Top Active Pages section.

Note

It can take at least 5 minutes for your data to appear in Top Active Pages.

Tip

To see which links bring people to your website, add UTM parameters to your links.
