How to add a Mobile App link

A Mobile App link sends visitors to your app on the Apple App Store and Google Play from one link. On a Pro or Premium plan, Linktree detects each visitor's device and opens the right store for them automatically.

  1. From My Linktree, select Edit. In the Links tab, select + Add.
  2. Paste your Apple App Store or Google Play app URL, then select your app from the results.
  3. In the Interaction section, under Link behavior, choose what happens when a visitor selects your link:
    • Send a visitor to the correct app store based on their device: Opens the store that matches the visitor's device. This option is available on Pro and Premium plans.
    • Ignore a visitor's device type and send them to this URL: Always opens the URL you added.
  4. Under App stores, set the options visitors see if your app isn't available on their device, if you want.

Note

If we can't detect your app store link, select Set up next to the app store to add the link yourself.
