Why can't I connect Instagram to my Linktree?

Instagram only connects to Linktree when it's a Creator or Business account. If you're using a personal Instagram account, switch it to a professional account in the Instagram app, then connect again. Once it's connected, the Instagram Link App can show your Instagram profile and latest posts and reels on your Linktree.

Check your Instagram account type

1. In the Instagram app, go to your Instagram profile and tap Edit Profile.
2. Look for Switch to professional account. If you see it, you're using a personal account and need to switch before you can connect.

Switch to a Creator or Business account

1. In the Instagram app, go to your Instagram profile and tap Edit Profile.
2. Tap Switch to professional account and follow the on-screen steps.
3. Pick the category that best describes you or your business, then tap Done.
4. Choose Creator or Business as your account type, then tap Next.
   • For a Business account, review your contact info and tap Next.

Disconnect Instagram from your Linktree

Disconnect Instagram if you want to remove it, or if you changed your Instagram username. After a username change, disconnect the old account first, then connect again with the new one.

1. From My Linktree, select Settings () in the bottom corner.
   • On mobile, tap More, then tap Settings ().
2. Scroll to the Social Integration section.
3. Select the Instagram account you want to remove and delete it.
